Jill also works at a clinic in Harrison, NY where she focuses on prenatal nutrition, fertility, hormonal balance, weight loss, and nutrition for breastfeeding moms and children. Jill is passionate about serving as a guide to people who are committed to improving their health holistically. Jill has a Master Of Science Degree in Human Nutrition from The University of Bridgeport and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist. She has been working at a busy Functional Medicine practice since 2012 utilizing multiple modalities to facilitate healing. This includes using genetic data from 23andMe and related softwares in conjunction with clinical information and laboratory results to get a broad picture of the issues affecting health. Jill is well-versed in a wide range of dietary, supplement, and lifestyle interventions and will tailor recommendations based on the requirements of each patient. She understands that there is no ONE diet that is right for everyone. You will leave with suggestions based on what your unique needs are and not some standard dogma. Jill may utilize one or more of the following dietary interventions based on the individual’s needs: GAPS, Low FODMAP, Low Oxalate, Low Histamine, Anti-Candida, Low Sulfate, Intermittent Fasting, Autoimmune, Low-Lectin, Paleo, Ketogenic, Patricia Kane Membrane Stabilizing Diet, Raw Food, Low-Glycemic, Vegetarian, Juicing, Weston A. Price, and more. Jill also makes supplement recommendations with multiple biochemical pathways in mind, and focuses on the role of inflammation, oxidative stress, infection, and toxins in blocking pathways. Jill is a huge proponent of also working on lifestyle interventions such as stress management, detoxification, exercise, and pleasure for helping to improve health. Jill is experienced in interpreting genetic data from 23andMe, Tree of Life, Strategene, Genetic Genie, DNAFit, Nutrigenomix and more. There are a variety of options in terms of how to test for genetics and also how to use that information to look at key pathways. Each patient or client has a choice in which software or lab to use, so please contact Jill for guidance in that regard.

Jill has also created a DNA Testing Guide. If you are not sure what type of testing you want to do, this guide will save you hours of time trying to figure out what test is right for you!!
